Nameplate Simulator | Adding Your Name

The name on your nameplate can be a family name only, a full name in roman letters, or two names for a multi-generational household. How it fits depends on the number of characters and lines — try entering your actual name in the simulator to see.

What you can enter

Roman letters, kanji, and multiple lines (family name + roman letters, two names for a multi-generational household, and more) are all supported. After entering your text, adjust the font size and letter spacing to fine-tune the fit.

Our typeface selection focuses on fonts that cover kanji up to JIS level 2. Coverage varies by typeface, so enter your actual text in the simulator to check how it displays. If a traditional character form or uncommon character is not available, please let us know when you order.

How to use

Tap "+ Text" under "Text & Icon" to add a text line and open the input field.

Tap "+ Text" to open the name input field.

Your text appears in the preview immediately. Use the sliders to adjust font size and letter spacing to check the fit (multiple lines work too).

Text entered in the input field appears large in the preview — Enter a name and it appears in the preview right away.

The simulator preview is a rendering of the finished piece. After you order, we email you the actual design data to review — production begins only once you approve it, so you can order with confidence even for the first time.
