Nameplate Simulator | Choosing a Typeface

The same name can look very different depending on the typeface. In the simulator you can switch between typefaces and compare them side by side in the preview.

Available typefaces
Typefaces can be set per line, so you can mix and match — for example, a brush script for the family name and a sans-serif for the romanized reading. The selection ranges from calligraphic and brush scripts to clean sans-serifs and rounded styles. Some of the Latin typefaces use uppercase letters only, so check the preview to see how your text looks.
Note that fine strokes and brush-like textures in calligraphic typefaces may appear more rustic when engraved into wood. Please treat the preview as a general impression of the finished piece.
How to use
Tap a line of text in the preview to open the editing panel for that line.

Tap the typeface name in the editing panel to open the typeface list. Choose a typeface per line and compare them in the preview before deciding.

The simulator preview is a rendering of the finished piece. After you order, we email you the actual design data to review — production begins only once you approve it, so you can order with confidence even for the first time.
