About Materials

Laser"Laser"
By irradiating laser light, the surface of the wood is scorched to engrave letters and illustrations. The natural texture of the charring and engraving shadows creates a warm finish.
Black Paint"Black Paint"
Matte black paint is applied to the laser-engraved area, enhancing contrast and making the letters stand out clearly with high visibility.
White Paint"White Paint"
Similarly, matte white paint is applied to the laser-engraved area. The white on Yamazakura creates a modern and elegant finish.

All products are finished with a liquid glass coating — an inorganic silica-based treatment that penetrates deep into the wood fibers and cures to form a durable, breathable shield. Unlike conventional varnishes or urethane finishes that sit on the surface, this coating bonds at the molecular level, delivering exceptional weather resistance without masking the natural character of the wood.
