A premium domestic hardwood with exceptional durability, significantly harder than oak. This remarkable wood features rich, warm coloration with distinctive grain patterns and natural weather resistance. Used in Japanese temple construction for over 1,000 years, it is a wood of enduring character and elegance. A noble wood cherished by Japanese craftsmen, offering timeless elegance and unmatched durability that transcends generations.

Walnut is prized for its deep, chocolate-brown color and striking grain patterns, making it one of the most luxurious hardwoods. Its natural luster and fine texture bring a refined and modern look to any space. Occasional color variations and small knots are part of its authentic character. Finished with two layers of protective glass coating, this wooden sign combines beauty with long-lasting usability.

Maple features a light, creamy color and smooth, even texture that gives a bright and clean impression. Its subtle, understated tone lends a graceful, refined look. Occasional mineral streaks or small knots may appear, adding to its natural character. To ensure protection outdoors, each sign is carefully finished with two coats of glass coating.

Cherry wood is admired for its warm reddish-brown color and smooth, fine grain. Its even, fine texture takes engraving beautifully, giving each sign an elegant, timeless character. Natural features such as small knots or “gum pockets” (resin marks) may appear, highlighting the individuality of solid wood. Each sign is finished with two coats of protective glass coating, ensuring durability for outdoor use while preserving the wood’s elegant appearance.

This method uses laser light to burn the surface of wood and then engrave letters and illustrations. The combination of the burnt and engraved shadows creates a natural look.

By applying paint to the areas engraved with laser engraving, the contrast is increased, making the letters stand out and improving visibility.

As with black lacquering, paint is applied to the laser engraved areas. Walnut offers high visibility, while zelkova creates a modern finish.

All products are finished with a liquid glass coating — an inorganic silica-based treatment that penetrates deep into the wood fibers and cures to form a durable, breathable shield. Unlike conventional varnishes or urethane finishes that sit on the surface, this coating bonds at the molecular level, delivering exceptional weather resistance without masking the natural character of the wood.
* Prolonged direct sunlight will cause gradual fading over time. We recommend installing in a location with some shade.
* While highly water-resistant, standing water or prolonged dampness can still lead to mold. Please avoid locations where rain hits directly.
