Nameplate Simulator | Choosing a Model

HARUTAKE nameplates come in nine models and four wood species — Japanese zelkova, walnut, hard maple, and cherry. Even the same name looks quite different depending on the model and wood you choose. Enter your name in the simulator and compare a few combinations side by side.

Available Models and Wood Species
There are three square models, each with a different surface texture: the flat Square, the Naguri with its hexagonal kikko pattern in a naguri-style carved finish, and the Ishigaki with a stone-wall-like relief. For rectangular shapes, the Rectangle and Trad can be oriented vertically or horizontally. Rounded options include the Maru (circle), Hachi (octagon), and Roku (hexagon).
The slim Plate is 11 mm thick. Where the wall allows, it can be mounted with double-sided tape — a practical option when drilling is not ideal.
Four wood species are available: Japanese zelkova, walnut, hard maple, and cherry. Lighter and darker woods create noticeably different looks for the engraved text and the piece as a whole.
How to Use
Open the simulator to see a nameplate preview alongside menus for model, wood species, and size. Choose a shape from the nine models, then select a wood species and size — the preview updates immediately to reflect your choices.

The simulator preview is a rendering of the finished piece. After you order, we email you the actual design data to review — production begins only once you approve it, so you can order with confidence even for the first time.
